IGOR BARDYKIN

COMPOSERPERFORMER EDUCATOR

Inspired by a real moment — a quiet evening, two souls meeting for the first time by the ocean, the silence between them filled with energy, vulnerability, and wonder.

This piece is about presence. About the moment love introduces itself — quietly, without warning.[Solo piano with ambient sounds of the ocean]
A nocturnal journey set to music — written for solo harp.

This piece evokes the feeling of walking through a dark forest, guided by moonlight and the distant sound of water.

Inspired by a real hike to a hidden waterfall at night, it’s a meditation on mystery, nature, and silent companionship.

The music flows like a stream, weaving curiosity and serenity into one surreal memory.
An ambient EP for deep rest and deeper thoughts.

Silent Mode is a moody ambient EP blending electronic sound design with spacious textures meant for both relaxation and introspection. Though calming on the surface, its tones carry emotional weight—dark, meditative, and quietly immersive.

This is thinking music. A sonic pause. A space where silence and sound meet, and time slows down.
AMBIVALENCE
A piano-based exploration of emotional duality — from longing and fear to tenderness and release.
Each track captures a moment of internal tension: the pull between closeness and distance, light and shadow.
The final piece, Remember Me, with cello, offers a quiet farewell — intimate, unresolved, and deeply human.
REMINISCENCE

A personal archive in sound — Reminiscence is a collection of pieces shaped by memory, love, loss, and imagination.
From the stillness of Vacuum and the intimacy of 4.10.1991 – I Love You to the playfulness of Dido and the sorrowful warmth of I Miss You, Mom, each track marks a moment, a person, a place.

Blending classical forms with Slavic motifs, ambient textures, and virtuosic piano writing, the album moves between reality and reverie.
The final piece, Cosmos, closes the journey with a tribute to my grandmother — a distant star in the emotional constellation of this work.
I MISS YOU MOM
Piano Version

A quiet, intimate piece for solo piano, written from across an ocean and over ten years apart.
It’s a letter in sound — tender, aching, and filled with love for the person who knows me best but hasn’t seen me in a decade.
This is how I speak to her when words fall short.

HOUSE NUMBER SEVEN

is an intimate original composition honoring the memory of a close childhood friend who passed away long ago. With a quiet emotional weight, the piece captures the stillness of grief, the innocence of shared memories, and the echoes of a friendship frozen in time.

Melancholic yet warm, it’s not just a remembrance—it’s a homecoming to a feeling, a person, and a place that lives on in music.
HEART OF A BROKEN DOLL

A tender piano piece from the ballet suite “Through the Eyes of a Broken” Doll, this single tells the story of healing afte darkness. Through broken melodies and evolving textures, it captures the fragile beauty of a soul learning to see the world anew—from pain to quiet transformation

I MISS YOU MOM
Electronic Version

A more expansive, atmospheric rendering of the same feeling — memory and longing suspended in time.
With layered textures and ambient tones, this version captures the emotional distance and quiet resilience of loving someone deeply from far away.

THE ARTWORK

MOTHER OF EVOLUTION
The second work, titled Mother of Evolution, touches on the metamorphosis journey of butterflies, which are one of the most beautiful creations in nature, and a sign of hope. The butterflies are a metaphor for the paradox that the world is burning down in a post-apocalyptic scene, but there is still evidence of life. We continue to give birth, no matter what destruction is going on, no matter what oppression we face. It relays the important message that if you are waiting for the world to be perfect or for your life to be perfect to create art, it will never happen. We have to do it, for our own survival in this chaotic, unpredictable world. The work features lyrics from Madonna’s iconic song Justify My Love, and original music by Igor Bardykin
.

SKNX

Inspired by 90s fragrance commercials — Part I of a two-part short film exploring validation in modern culture.

The first film introduces a hyper-stylized, cinematic world where identity is built and broadcast through performance. Scored by Igor Bardykin, the music supports the visuals with understated tension, elegance, and emotional restraint.

Part II — shot in surreal distortion, questioning perception and authenticity.

The second installment dives into fragmented reality and self-awareness. With a haunting, experimental score by Igor Bardykin, the film blurs the line between fantasy and disconnection in search of something real beneath the image.

Rose Thorn
ad campaign

Soundtrack for an ad campaign for Rose Thorn, a jewelry brand specializing in crystal‑energy and acupressure pieces that blend elegance, symbolism, and holistic healingtrademarks.justia.com+11about.me+11shaunleane.com+11. Their collections, infused with spiritual meaning and modern craftsmanship, evoke both beauty and strength.

For the campaign, I crafted an immersive soundscape that weaves organic field recordings—the gentle rustle of leaves, soft drips of water, subtle wind breath—with layered electronic textures and harmonic piano motifs. This fusion underscores Rose Thorn’s ethos: natural healing meets refined design.

The music unfolds with a spacious, meditative pacing—first, the natural sounds evoke grounding and calm; then, the introduction of delicate melodic elements and evolving sound design reflects emotional uplift and energy alignment. The result is both ambient and cinematic—subtle yet emotionally resonant.

By combining nature's authenticity with modern sonic storytelling, the piece enhances the jewelry’s visual narrative: a journey from inner stillness to empowered radiance.
